With an endless combination of modern and legacy browsers for users to choose from, it's our responsibility as developers to ensure the courses or applications we build performs adequately on most of the browsers. On different browsers, client components like Javascript, AJAX requests, Applets, Flash, Flex etc. behaves differently and also, their is difference in handling on how requests are processed on server side based application or on the user-agent application. So just testing the web application on single web browser is not enough. We need to make sure that our web application works fine across multiple browser.
Cross Browser Testing is a process to test web applications across multiple browsers. It involves testing both the client side and server side behavior of your Web application when it is accessed using different Web Browsers.
We have designed our application to be compatible with a range of web browsers and operating systems. To this end we have tested the coursese or application on various platforms, aiming to offer the same high quality experience regardless of a user's chosen browser or operating system.
